DW15 Universal Circuit Breaker Series

Overview
Product Details
1. Usage and classification
1.1 Purpose
The rated current of DW15-1600, 2500, and 4000 universal circuit breakers (hereinafter referred to as circuit breakers) ranges from 630A to 4000A, and the rated working voltage is AC 380V50Hz. This circuit breaker is mainly used in distribution networks to distribute electrical energy and protect lines and power equipment from overload, undervoltage, and short circuits. Under normal conditions, it can also be used for infrequent switching of lines.
1.2 Classification
1.2.1 Classified by Protection Performance Selection
Selective type;
Non selective type.
1.2.2 Classified by transmission device
Direct transmission of the front handle;
Electric motor drive.
1.2.3 Classified by type of release device
Equipped with overcurrent release and shunt release;
Equipped with overcurrent release and undervoltage instantaneous (or delayed) release;
Equipped with overcurrent release, undervoltage instantaneous (or delayed) release, and shunt release;
1.2.4 Classified by overcurrent protection type

Overload long delay, short circuit short delay, and extremely short circuit instantaneous action (electronic).
Note: When the user does not require an overcurrent release, please negotiate for supply.
1.2.5 Classified by incoming and outgoing lines
Board forward outgoing line (vertical incoming and outgoing line);
Rear entry and exit lines (horizontal entry and exit lines);
Forward line of the board, outgoing line behind the board (vertical incoming line, horizontal outgoing line).
1.2.6 Classified by whether there is pre stored energy
No pre energy storage (energy storage and closure operation completed in one go);
There is pre energy storage (secondary completion of energy storage and closure operation);
1.2.7 Divided by undervoltage release device
Under voltage instantaneous release device;
Undervoltage delay release device;
Note: Unless otherwise required, the electronic release mechanism already has a delay function.
2. Model and significance
3. Normal working conditions
3.1 The ambient air temperature is between -5 ℃ and+40 ℃, and the average temperature within 24 hours does not exceed+35 ℃.
3.2 The altitude of the installation site shall not exceed 2000m.
3.3 The relative temperature of the atmosphere shall not exceed 50% when the ambient air temperature is+40 ℃; At lower temperatures, there can be higher relative humidity; The average maximum relative humidity of the wettest month is 90%, and the average minimum temperature of that month is+25 ℃, taking into account the condensation that occurs on the surface of the product due to temperature changes.
3.4 The pollution level is level 3.
3.5 Installation category: The undervoltage trip coils and primary coils of power transformers in the main and auxiliary circuits are used for installation category IV, while the installation category for other auxiliary circuits is III.
3.6 The circuit breaker should be installed as a complete set according to this manual or installed separately indoors. The vertical inclination should not exceed 5 degrees.
